She married Frank Lemons.^c,b

Nellie and her mother Emma & family homesteaded some land in North Dakota, circa WWI, for a period of about five years in order to gain ownership of the land. Nellie married Frank Lemons who then sold Nellie's land and shortly thereafter fled with the money, leaving Nellie and her child abandoned.^d

She then married William B. Ivins.⁸² William Ivins was called "Bid" within the family.^e

Nellie and family were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 22 1930), living with her parents in Danvers Township, McLean County, Illinois:^b

Harmon, Harry, head-of-household, age 69, born in Ohio; parents born in Ohio; first married at age 32; owned home; occupation: none.

Harmon, Emma, wife, age 59, born in Illinois; father born in Illinois; mother born in Pennsylvania; first married at age 21.

Abbott, Esther, daughter, age 21, born in Illinois; father born in Ohio; mother born in Illinois; first married at age 14.

Abbott, Fred, son-in-law, age 25, born in Illinois; father born in Illinois; mother born in U.S.; first married at age 18; occupation: laborer, general farm.

Abbott, Dale, grandson, age 6, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.

Abbott, Lynn, grandson, age 3 years 8 months, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.

Abbott, Loris, grandson, age 10 months, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.

Ivins, Nellie, daughter, age 35, born in Illinois; father born in Ohio; mother born in Illinois; married; first married at age 18.

Ivins, Darrell, grandson, age 5, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.

Lemons, Harry, grandson, age 15, born in North Dakota; father born in West Virginia; mother born in Illinois; attended school.

Nellie Gertrude Harmon died Dec 26 1934, buried in Stout's Grove Cemetery, McLean County, Illinois.⁸² Medical: Nellie died from uterine cancer.^e,f
