August 25, 1939 - September 24, 2016
Boonville -- Peggy Jane Miles Hinshaw, 77, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born August 25, 1939 in Alleghany County to the late Fred and Ruby Brown Miles. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Margie Andrews, Ethel Davis, Betty Miles; brothers, Grady Miles, Alfred Miles. Surviving is her husband, Glyce Ray Hinshaw; children, Debbie (Harold) Haynes, Tony Hinshaw, Barbie (Ken) Felts; grandchildren, Jake Hinshaw, Ashley Felts, Stephanie Hinshaw, Heather (Barry) Anderson; great grandson, Ty Anderson; sister, Betty Ann (John) Toliver; brothers, James (Judy) Miles, George Miles; and several nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 at Richmond Hill Baptist Cemetery by the Rev. Roger Jennings. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hinshaw family. Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
