John inherited a 1/10th interest in 110 acres of land from his father's estate.d    In an Indenture (Frederick County, Virginia) of Nov 10 1824 between John Hancher and "Sarah his wife", they sold their 1/10th undivided interest in the estate.e
Note that the above Indenture seems to indicate John had married a Sarah sometime prior to 1824.e
