OPAL N. SMITH HAGERSTOWN: Opal N. Smith, 84, of Hagerstown, died Friday, August 18, 2006, in Reid Hospital, Richmond.   She was born in Henry County on August 13, 1922, the daughter of William John and Edith Mae Evans Hinshaw.  She was a life long resident of the Hagerstown area.   Opal was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Hagerstown, and was active at the Nettle Creek Senior Center.   She is survived by: 3 daughters, Donna Winters (Ted) of Hagerstown, Elaine Nelson (John) of Richmond, Janice Reeder (Rea) of Muncie; 4 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; 4 brothers, Hubert Hinshaw of Avon, Cecil Hinshaw of Winchester, Robert Hinshaw of Colorado Springs, CO, Donald Hinshaw of New Castle; a special friend, Gene Hutchinson of Hagerstown.   Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 22, in Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown.  Pastor Eldon Denney and Cecil Hinshaw will officiate.  Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.   Memorials may be made to Nettle Creek Senior Center or Faith Baptist Church.
