She married Darius Drennen1,4 [William Darius Drennen5,6], 19421,4, Clay County, West Virginia1,4.  Darius, son of Charles Morland Drennen & Rosa/Rosie Alice Browning, was born Jul 10 1922, Roane County, West Virginia.4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11  

Note: Marriage license issued Jul 28 1942, Clay County, West Virginia, but the license was never "returned" (by the marriage officiant)4 so the exact marriage date (or for that matter the certainty of the marriage itself) cannot be determined.  

On Nov 25 1942 Darius W. Drennen enlisted at Clarksburg, West Virginia as a private in the U.S. Army.  He declared he was born 1922 in West Virginia and had one year of high school.12  

Darius remarried to Katherine Icy Gould, Oct 26 1946, Summit County, Ohio.7  

Darius died Dec 3 2003, Clendenin, Kanawha County, West Virginia; buried Kirkhart-King Cemetery, near Wanego on Granny's Creek Rd., Roane County, West Virginia.5,9,10,11  

Darius' obituary was published in the "Charleston Daily Mail" (Charleston, West Virginia) on December 31, 2003:8

William Darius Drennen

William Darius Drennen, 81, of Clendenin died Dec. 3, 2003, of injuries received in an automobile accident on U.S. 119.  

He was the son of the late Charles M. and Rosie Alice Browning Drennen.  He was also preceded in death by sisters, Dixie V. Bird and Cydie McKown; and brothers, Carlos and Garland R. Drennen.  

He was a member of the Charleston Moose Lodge, retired from United Mine Workers of America, an Army veteran of World War II and a CCC worker in the early 1940s.  

He is survived by his son, Darius William Drennen of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Sharon Lee Collins of Big Chimney, Patricia Ann Bishop of Utahville, S.C., Beverly June Allen of Big Chimney; sister, Barbara Cook of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Michael, Jerry Lee, April Gail, Bobby, Kathy, Dale and Charles; and one great-grandchild.  

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with Virgil Ross officiating.  Burial will be in King Cemetery, Amma.  

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She then married James Gilbert Circle, 1950, Kanawha County, West Virginia.1,3  James was born Aug 8 1928.11

James died Jun 3 2007.11
