Maxine's mother died when she was 17 years old. Maxine was raised at least part of her life by her maternal grandparents, Charles Davis Meredith & Lizzie Story.1
Maxine served as a Womens Airforce Service Pilot (WASP) from 1943-1945.1
She married - Manogue.1 It is believed that this marriage was short lived. Maxine apparently married before or during 1943 as she entered the WASP in 1943 as June Maxine Manogue.1
She then married William Plato Harvey, Jul 12 1946.1
June Maxine Hinshaw died Mar - 2000, Austin, Texas.1
