She was born on Sept. 5, 1933, in Mingus. She was an assembly worker for Victor Equipment. She married Wayne Hinshaw on March 24, 1962, in Mineral Wells. She was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.
Hinshaw is survived by her husband, Wayne; two sons, Vince Hinshaw of Decatur and Cullen Hinshaw of Denton; a daughter, Marianne Hinshaw of Denton; three brothers, W.C. Vincent of Gainesville, Mac Vincent of Krum and Buddy Vincent of Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donnie Autry, David Douglas, Kevin Walton, Alan Hinshaw, Eric Bryan and Kevin Vincent. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Rodden, Walt Vincent, Mac Vincent Jr., Ronnie Pellegrinz and Doug Price.
FUNERAL for Joan Hinshaw, 66, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. today at Decatur Church of Christ on FM 51 South with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Coker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
