WILKINSON -- Mrs. Elsie Kuhn, 78, formerly of the Wilkinson Community, died Friday at Iowa City, Ia.
Mrs. Kuhn was a school teacher for 38 years, teaching at Wilkinson, Kennard, Straughn, Knightstown Children's Home and Greensburg.
Her husband, Earl Kuhn, died May 30, 1957, whereupon she moved to Iowa to live with her son, a professor at the University of Iowa.
Surviving are the son, Manford Kuhn; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Faye Harry, Middletown; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Zula Hinshaw, Kennard; three brothers, Herbert and Russell Hinshaw, Kennard, and Floyd Hinshaw, Spiceland.
Services will be held at the Friends Meeting House in Kennard Monday morning at 10 o'clock and friends will be received at the meeting house an hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown.
