HINSHAW'S WIDOW GIVEN HIS ESTATE
Contestants fail to prove that Marriage to Deceased was Bigamous Special dispatch to the Chronicle.

Stockton, May 3. - The right of Mollie E. Hinshaw to the estate of Hugh B. Hinshaw as the surviving widow was sustained by the Superior Court here this afternoon.  Mrs. Hinshaw's rights had been questioned by Amanda H. McReynolds, William P. Hinshaw and Arthur Hinshaw, children by a former wife, on the sensational ground that she was not the lawful widow of the deceased.  Some of the testimony introduces tended to show that Hugh B. Hinshaw had been married five times and that several of the marriages were bigamous.  The gist of the Court's decision which is one of the longest ever handed down in this county - is that if Mrs. Hinshaw is not he surviving widow of the deceased the petitioners failed to prove it and that she is entitled to the legal presumption to the contrary."
