Sonny Henshaw, son of Mrs. Geraldine Jones of this city returned Tuesday to the Naval Base in Norfolk, Virginia after having spent his two weeks leave here with his mother and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Poole and other relatives.

He married Imogene Holman1 [Imogene Danford Holman3, Imogene Holman Danford4].  

He then married Rosalyn -.1  

John Douglas "Sonny" Henshaw died Apr 15 19897,8 [Apr 23 19891,11], Charleston, Mississippi County, Missouri7,8.  

Sonny was killed in a robbery attempt at the "Flag Stop", a convenience store in Charleston where he was working as a clerk.8,11
