When Donald was 17 he joined the army, telling them he was 18 in order to qualify. His military and Social Security records thereafter showed an incorrect birth year of 1929 (it was correctly 1930).2
He married Virginia Griffin, about 1953.1
Donald and Virginia were divorced in the mid 1950s.1
He then married Martha J. Edwards.1 Martha was born Jan 31 1935.2,3 Martha had two children from her previous marriage, Donny and Debbie.1
Donald Leo Henshaw died May 21 19892 [May 15 19893].
In 1996 Martha was living in/near Grayville, White County, Illinois.3
Martha died Jul 3 1996.2,3 Martha was killed by a drunk driver while she was on vacation in New Mexico.2
