In 1994-1997 Maude was living at 315 Cascade Ave., Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina.^7,16

Maude died Sep 23 1997, buried Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Yadkin County, North Carolina.^1,7,11 (Recorded as Mattie M. Hinshaw in death records).¹¹

Maude had a brother, Thad Swaim, who lived for a number of years with Weldon and Maude. Thad is buried at Swaims Baptist Church, Yadkin County, North Carolina.¹⁷
