Mr. Charlie "Bruce" Sizemore 95, husband of the late Mozelle Hinshaw Sizemore, passed Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Bruce was born in Yadkin County September 28, 1916 to the late Authur and Bettie Hobson Sizemore. He was a lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church. A farmer who loved the outdoors, Bruce was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by a brother Roger Sizemore and a sister Beulah S. Vestal. Surviving are sons Dean Sizemore of Boonville, Wayne (Gale) Sizemore of Courtney, Macks (Libby) Sizemore of Pfafftown, Jerry Sizemore of Clemmons, and Michael (Ann) Sizemore of East Bend; Surviving daughters are Betty S. (George) Fleming of East Bend, Kay S. (Paul) Hepler of Pfafftown, and Frankie S. Ireland of Hamptonville. Grandchildren are Jeff Sizemore, Kandy S. McEwen, Renee' F. Gentry, Vincent Fleming, Scott Fleming, Kevin Sizemore, Courtney Sizemore, Austin Ireland, and Ashleigh Ireland; Nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday may 19, 2012 at 11:00 at Union Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Kenny Gooden, Rev. Paul White and Rev Jack Gentry. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., before the service. Memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Building Fund. The family wishes to thank the Clemmons Village I Assisted Living Community and Willowbrook Healthcare Center for their kindness and care of our loved one.
