Dec. 3, 1918 - May 4, 1996

Guinevere Cly, 77, 1412 13th St., Bedford, died at 6:35 a.m. Saturday at Dunn Memorial Hospital, Bedford.  

Born in Henry County, she was the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth (Smith) Hinshaw.  She was formerly married to Arnold Cly.  

She had worked for Kmart in Bedford 25 years and also worked for S.S. Kresge Store on the Bedford square.  

Surviving are two daughters: Susan Kendall Kaufman of Claysburg, Penn., and Teri Gates of Bedford; one son, Arnold Cly Jr. of LaFontaine; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister in infancy.  

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Sister Joan Luerman officiating.  Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.  

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the White River Humane Society.
