BUILDER, DIES
Ollie Hinshaw 72, died at his residence 538 fifth street, early this morning.
Born June 16, 1875 at Lyn, Indiana, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hinshaw, he spent the most of his boy hood in that community and came to this region in 1903.
In 1919 he was united in marriage to Maude Lardie of Old Mission. Following their marriage the couple made their home in this city.
He was employed by Smith and Homes Contractors for several years and later formed a partnership with M. Wright in the same type of business. This partnership lasted until 1919 when he went into business for himself.
Surviving besides the widow are two brothers, Archie of this city and Frank of Long Lake. Also two nephews, Ronald of Battle Creek and Wilford of Long Lake and one niece Anna of this city.
The body was taken to the Weaver Wolbrink Mortuary where it will remain until time of service which will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Howard Towne will officiate and burial will be at the family lot at Oakwood cemetery.

Maude M. Hinshaw, 65, of 538 Fifth street, died unexpectedly at Munson hospital early this morning following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hinshaw was born July 8, 1890, at Old Mission and had spent her entire life in this vicinity. For a number of years she worked as a dental assistant here. She was a member of the Peninsula Farm Bureau and the First Congregational church.
Her husband Ollie Hinshaw, preceded her in death in 1947.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Otto Steffes of R.I. two brothers, F. Roy Lardie of R.I. and Maurice Lardie of New York city; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. from the Martinson funeral home in this city with the Rev J.C. Mathews officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Oakwood.
