He then married Mildred C. Larson^10,13 [Mildred Campbell¹³], Dec 7 1953^10,13, 961 Ave. B, Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan^10,13. Mildred, daughter of Howard M. Campbell.¹³

Wilford's marriage was announced in the "Traverse City Record Eagle" (Traverse City, Michigan) on Thursday, December 17, 1953¹³ (see scan below).
