Born about 1845, Kentucky.1  Biddy was probably named after Biddy Praten, who was living with the family in 18501 and who might have been her grandmother.

A Biddy Oney was shown in the 1870, Floyd County, Kentucky2 (it is unknown if this was married Biddy Hanshew, but since Biddy is a very unusual name it seems probable):

Oney, Biddy, female, age 30, born in Kentucky; farmer; $90 real estate; cannot read or write.
Oney, James, male, age 11, born in Kentucky; attended school; cannot read or write.
