Jane Hinshaw

Jane was shown in the 1920 census (Jan 18 1920), living in the household of brother Paul, Casa Grande, Pinal County, Arizona:¹

Jane presents a mystery. She is known only from the 1920 census, where she was recorded as "sister" in the household of Paul Hinshaw. However, she was not shown with her parents and family in the 1910 census, when she would have been about 9 years old. It's possible Jane might have been adopted, or equally possible that Jane was not a Hinshaw at all - she might have been Paul's "sister-in-law", incorrectly recorded in the 1920 census.
