On Sep 12 1918 George Thomas Henshaw, age 37, registered for the World War I draft in Morganfield, Union County, Kentucky.  He declared he was born June 29 1881, and was then residing in Henshaw, Union County, Kentucky where he was a carpenter employed by Madison Coal [..unclear..] of DeKoven, Kentucky.  He declared his nearest relative was Maud Henshaw of Henshaw.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, gray eyes, light hair.¹⁰

On Apr 25 1942 George Thomas Henshaw, age 60, registered for the World War II draft in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.  He declared he was born June 29 1881 in Henshaw, Kentucky, and was then residing at 3016 Murdock Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, employed as a journeyman carpenter.  He declared his relative/contact was Maude Henshaw of the same address.  He was recorded as 5' 9" tall, 146 lbs., gray eyes, black hair, dark complexion.¹²  

George Thomas Henshaw died 1956, buried Evergreen Cemetery, Milford, Miami Township, Clermont County, Ohio.²  

Lillian died Jul 10 1964, at her home, 5779 Juvene Way, Delhi Hills, Hamilton County, Ohio; age 82.^1,2,14

Mrs. Lillian Henshaw Mrs. Lillian M. Henshaw 82, mother of Albert T. Henshaw, assistant secretary and assistant treasurer of the Bell Telephone Co. died Friday at her home, 5779 Juvene Way, Delhi Hills.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Weigel, and two sons, James E. and William E., all of Cincinnati, and 11 grandchildren.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Ralph Meyer Funeral Home, Price Hill.  Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Miami Township.

HENSHAW SERVICES SET FOR MONDAY Mother of Phone Company Official Died Yesterday Services for Lillian M. Henshaw, 82, mother of Albert T. Henshaw, assistant secretary-treasurer of the Cincinnati Suburban Bell Telephone Co., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Ralph Meyer Funeral Home, Price Hill.  Mrs. Hinshaw died at her home 5779 Juvene way, yesterday.  She leaves a daughter Mrs. Robert Wengal and two other sons, James E. And William E. Henshaw and 11 grandchildren.  Friends may call at the funeral home between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. tomorrow.
