Lota's marriage was announced in the "Medford Mail Tribune" (Medford, Oregon) on Monday, November 4, 1940:3

EAGLE POINT GIRL WEDS MR. ANDERSON IN GRANT'S PASS

The marriage of Lota Henshaw of Grant's Pass and Don Anderson of Anchorage, Alaska, was solemnized Saturday evening at 9 o'clock in Grant's Pass.  Judge R. S. Anderson read the service.  

The bride chose a blue pinstripe suit for her wedding costume, accented by a corsage of gardenias.  They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William Rackley of Grant's Pass.  

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are making their home in Grant's Pass until Mr. Anderson returns to work at McKinley Park in Alaska, when they will reside at Anchorage.  

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Henshaw of Eagle Point, and the bridegroom a son of Mrs. Sophia Anderson of Finley Bend.
