Andrew might have been a Civil War Veteran.^f There was an A. Hinshaw who served as a private in Company L, 4th Wisconsin Cavalry and who was residing in/near Hendley, Nebraska in 1895.^g There was also a Jackson Henshaw who served as a private in Company H, 18th Wisconsin Infantry.^h
