He married Emma Ehlert, about 1917.1,2,3  Emma was born Jul 25 1895, Germany.1,2,7  

On Sep 12 1918 "Roy none Henshaw", age 36, registered for the World War I draft in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  He declared he was born April 9 1882, and was then residing at 898 Bower, Oshkosh, Wisconsin where he "expects to work on farm" of Henry Henshaw of Rush Lake, Nepeuskun, Wisconsin.  He declared his nearest relative was his wife, Emma Henshaw of 898 Bower, Oshkosh.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, brown hair, with "Cl[..unclear..] & stiff leg" - "He is physically unfit".  A notation was added: "Gets mail at Rush Lake".6

WAUKAU MEN FINED

John Budzin and Roy Henshaw, both of Waukau, were each fined $10 and costs on charges of operating an automobile while under the influence of liquor, when they appeared before Justice of the Peace Fred Engelbracht Monday evening.  They were arrested by Motor Officer William Merkey.
