Henry's obituary was published as follows:3
Henry Hanshaw 85 resident of Port Huron nearly all his life, died at the home of his son William Hanshaw 515 Ontario St. after a long illness. Mr. Hanshaw was born in Ontario he moved to Port Huron when he was 6 years old. Mr. Hanshaw was employed in the Grand Trunk railway car shops and continued to work until he was retired eight years ago after he was injured when hit by a automoble. He is survived by a son William Hanshaw, a daughter F.M. Bennett, Port Huron and grand children. The remains are in the Albert & Son Mortuary, where funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. ; Wednesday by Rev. H. Firth pastor of St. Paul Church. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetary.
