Alice Lenore Raisig
Alice Lenore Raisig died Aug. 2, 2000, at age 87. No service will be held.
Mrs. Raisig was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Eugene and was raised in Eastern Washington. Her maiden name was Hinshaw. She attended Whitman College and the University of Oregon, moving to Portland after graduation. She taught art at Grant High School five years and then was a homemaker. She later returned to teaching as a substitute in the Portland Public Schools. In 1941, she married Theodore J. Raisig; he died in 1998.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Marie; and nieces and nephews.
