Roxanne M. Cook, 36

WINCHESTER - Roxanne M. Cook, 36, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2004 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.  

She was born in Portland to Lloyd and Sadonna (Romine) Hinshaw on April 23, 1968.  She was a 1987 graduate of Winchester High School.  

She worked at Jay/Randolph Developmental Services as a caregiver.  She was attending computer classes at Ivy Tech.  She enjoyed photography, oil painting and gardening.  Roxanne was a band mom and she loved her children.  She attended Main St. Christian Church in Winchester.  

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, William S. Cook, Winchester; her parents, Lloyd and Sadonna Hinshaw, Saratoga; sons, Dane Cook, Spencer Cook and Lucas Cook, all of Winchester; sisters, Rhonda (husband, Donnie) Brown, Ridgeville, Ramona (husband, Jarrett) Bates, Winchester, Amelita (friend, Kevin VanSkyock) Hinshaw, Portland; paternal grandfather, Lloyd Hinshaw, Portland; maternal grandmother, Margret (husband, Linus) Mesher, Portland; paternal grandmother, Ruby Updike, Warsaw; family dog, Reba May.  Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Hinshaw.  

Funeral services will be at Main St. Christian Church, 220 S. Main St., Winchester, on Wednesday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Kenneth Rickett officiating.  Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester.  

Calling hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17 at the church.  

Walker Funeral Home, 248 E. South St., Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
