Mrs. George Arnold of Leavenworth, Wash., was honored at a farewell dinner Tuesday evening in the Harvey Hinshaw home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Judson Freed and baby daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Arnold and Larry and Mrs. Cora Eggleston. Mrs. George Arnold has been visiting several weeks with relatives here and has returned to her home in Washington.

Mrs. Herbert Lynn and Mrs. Harvey Hinshaw, accompanied by relatives from Whitten, attended the funeral of their aunt, Miss Marian Eggleston, at Moline, Ill. Miss Eggleston had been in failing health for several years. She had been employed in Des Moines for many years until her health failed and she went to live with her sister, Mrs. Ed Callaway who lived near Eldora. When the Callaway family moved to Moline she accompanied them.
