Mary Owen
Mary Louise Owen, 86, of Manteno, died Monday (July 21, 2008) at the Berkshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Forest Park. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Palestine Cemetery, Stonefort. Memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Research.
She was born April 21, 1922, in Stonefort, the daughter of Riley and Martha Dunn Henshaw. Her husband, Charles Owen, whom she married Oct. 28, 1950, is deceased.
Surviving are one grandson, William Charles Sisson of North Riverside; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Deceased are one daughter, Mary Katherine Higgins; one grandson, Chris; four brothers, two sisters, one infant brother and one infant sister.
