Drusila Jarvis
FREDERICKSBURG - Drusila Helen Jarvis, 77, 4360 Evans Road, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, after a brief illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Carl Wilson Funeral Home in Clay, W.Va., where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Phillips Cemetery, Clay County, W.Va.
Local calling hours will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
She was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Valley Fork, W.Va., to Piziro N. and Lela Helen (Grose) Hanshaw.
She was a homemaker and had made her home in Clay County, W.Va., and in Fredericksburg since 1986.
Surviving are sons, Charles Jarvis of Burbank and Ronald Jarvis of the home; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane O’Dell of Orrville; and nieces and nephews.
Brothers, Don and Clark Hanshaw, and sisters, Hettie, Nettie and Rettie, died previously.
