Bernice I. Steelhammer was born in Vale, Ore. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Becky Finnell, Kathleen Straughan, Ruth Denny and Carolyn Walery; son, William Hinshaw; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel, Woodburn.
