Genevieve M. Henshaw, 86, Overland Park, KS, passed away September 9, 2004. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Federation of the Blind, 1800 Johnson Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Genevieve was born April 5, 1918 in Kansas City, MO, to Elmer R. and Clara E. (Callery) Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carroll B. Henshaw, her sister, Catherine Robertson and her son, Edward Henshaw. Genevieve is survived by her son, Gene Henshaw and his wife, Linda; sisters, Peggy Schumacher, Patricia Thompson, and Mary Jo Panzero; grandchildren, Kimberly Goodman, Mark Henshaw, Tim Henshaw, Kelly Little and Chris Henshaw; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members.
