Iris Phyllis Fehrman, 88, died Thursday, June 19, 2003, in Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 31, 1914, in Plymouth County, Iowa to Ira and Blanche Henshaw. She attended the Sioux City School. She married Lee Fehrman, Dec. 23, 1929. She was employed at Postal Finance in Sioux City. She lived in many places throughout her life, and retired to the Lake Home in Ottertail, Minn. She attended Methodist Churches wherever she hung her hat. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lee; son Gary; brothers Basil, Clayton, Cecil, Marvin, and Delbert; and sister Ethel Newkirk. Survivors include her daughter Virginia (Lester) Holt of Ottertail, Minn.; sister Vera Perrett of Clarksville, Ark., grandchildren Sandra (Luke) Meints of Duluth, Mike (Tara) Holt of Minneapolis, Gary (Kim) Waddell of Lemars, Iowa, Jeff Kots of Georgetown Tex.; 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. SERVICES:2 p.m. Sunday in Family of God Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd St.
