Henshaw-Gould

The marriage of one of Brooklyn's most noted clubmen and a very charming young society woman of Buffalo was solemnized at the latter city yesterday.  The clubman was William W. Henshaw of the Hill, who has long been a considerable factor in Brooklyn's life, and one of the borough's most distinguished bachelors.  His bride was a girl who, on the occasion of a long visit she paid to Brooklyn last fall, made many friends, and will be well remembered - Miss Grace Gould.

As Mrs. Henshaw Miss Gould will be a young matron of much importance here, the Henshaws and Mr. Henshaw's sister, Mrs. Sidney Guyon, having for some years played a leading part in Brooklyn's social like.  Thus this bridal in Buffalo was possessed of much more than usual interest.  It was solemnized at the home of Miss Gould's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson Gould, 147 Lexington avenue, that city.  The men of the wedding party were all from Brooklyn.  Those who served as ushers were Wyllys Terry, George D. Provost, William M. Hoagland and F. Joseph Vernon, and E. Percy Walker was best man.  Little Miss Dorothy Guyon was the only one of Miss Gould's attendents from Brooklyn.  Representing Mr. Henshaw as his niece, she accompanied Miss Gould as a miniature maid of honor.

The wedding was an exceedingly pretty one.  Miss Gould had as her further attendants Miss May Omens of the Burrough of Manhattan, Miss Alice Mulligan of Chicago, Mrs. Hale Whitney and Miss Cora Townsend of Buffalo.
