Holmes, Patricia Carol Hinshaw Patricia Carol Hinshaw Holmes 74, Danville, IN, died Sept. 27, 2006. She was self-employed, owning Pat's Accounting and Tax Services for 12 to 15 years. She was a member of Calvary Temple. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2006 in Conkle Funeral Home Avon Chapel, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Entombment will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include husband, Carlos W. Holmes; sons, Edwin Dean, David Laroy, Durwin Glenn and Jason Allan Holmes; daughters, Clara Clairetta Mathews and Patricia Louise Price; brothers, Alton W. Hinshaw and L. Dale Hinshaw; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, William and sisters, Wilma, Laura and Roberta.

Carlos W. Holmes 82 of Danville passed away Thursday August 16, 2012. He was born August 10, 1930 in Bowling Green, KY the son of Andrew and Nettie Holmes. Mr. Holmes was a shop foreman for Baker Metals and Tuttle Aluminum and worked part time for Hendricks Community Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Hinshaw Holmes. He is survived by four sons, Edwin Dean Holmes, David Laroy Holmes, Durwin Glenn Holmes and Jason Allen Holmes; a daughter, Carla Clairetta Mathews; a sister, Mary L. Johnson; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Services entrusted to Conkle Funeral Home Avon Chapel.
