June H. Robertson

June H. Robertson, 89, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Norton, where she has resided for nearly three years.  She was the wife of 52 years of the late William Stewart Robertson, who died in February 1994.  

Born June 25, 1921 in North Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Adlington) Henshaw.  She was a member of the Class of 1939 at North Attleboro High School and worked for the North Attleboro School Department for 25-plus years

She lived in North Attleboro until 1978, when she and her husband moved to their retirement home on Lake Mirimichi in Foxboro.  She was a longtime member of the First Universalist Church in North Attleboro and then Murray Unitarian-Universalist Church.  

She is survived by two sons, David H. Robertson of Tacoma, Wash., and Steven Robertson of Minot, Maine; a daughter, Susan Host of Foxboro; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Chace of Port Charlotte, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She is pre-deceased by brothers Norman and Ralph Henshaw and a son, John S. Robertson.  

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro.
