Lulu had been briefly previously married to a John Glaser, Jun 17 1895, Clark County, Missouri.11

On Sep 12 1918 John Davison Henshaw, age 45, registered for the World War I draft in Clark County, Missouri.  He declared he was born April 19 1873, and was then residing in Wayland, Clark County, Missouri where he was a farmer.  He declared his nearest relative was John Mitchell Henshaw of Wayland.  He was recorded as medium height, slender, brown eyes, black hair.6
