He married Marguerite Austin.⁶  Marguerite, daughter of Lawrence H. + Roma P. Austin, was born May 16 1915.^3,7,8,9,10  

The following article was published in the "Times Recorder" (Zanesville, Ohio) on Tuesday, December 23, 1941:¹¹

Mrs. Jean Gibson Hancher of 115 North Sixth street received word from her son, Dr. Ken G. Hancher of New York city Monday morning that he is recovering rapidly from an attack of infantile paralysis.  Mrs. Hancher spent some time with him in New York city when Dr. Hancher first became ill.  Later she visited another son, J. H. Hancher in Buffalo, N.Y. before returning home.

Ken and family were shown in the 1962 city directory of Westerly, Rhode Island:¹²

Dr. Kenneth Gibson Hancher died Apr 12 1974, Whigville, Noble County, Ohio; buried Mount Ephraim Cemetery, Mount Ephraim, Noble County, Ohio.^3,4,6  

Ken's obituary was published in the "New York Times" (New York, New York) on April 13, 1974⁶ (see scan below).  

Marguerite died Nov 8 2007.³
