Ira Hinshaw and his niece, Gladys Kaminski of Michigan City, Indiana, were this week-end, guests of Mrs. D. C. Hinshaw.

David Clark Hinshaw died Dec 25 1941, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; buried Dec 29 1941.^c

David's death was noted in the Chicago "Daily Herald" (Chicago, Illinois) on Friday, January 2, 1942:^c

Former Itascan killed by train David C. Hinshaw, 39, a former resident of Itasca was struck by a train and killed in Milwaukee on Christmas Day.    The coroner of Milwaukee said he believed Hinshaw did not hear the approach of the train.

The many Itasca neighbors of Mrs. Rebecca Hinshaw extend sincere sympathy in her recent bereavement.    David Clark Hinshaw was buried Monday afternoon, the Rev. Geo. W. Jenkins officiating at the funeral services.
