Paul F. Ferrari, a resident of Hobe Sound, FL formerly of Danvers and Plymouth, MA died December 19, 2011. Born August 18, 1930 in Plymouth, MA to the late Enrico and Leontina Ferrari. Upon graduating from Plymouth High School in 1948, Paul attended Brown University where he was a member of ROTC and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1952. He was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict until 1954. Paul then attended Babson College and graduated with a Master of Business Administration in 1956. He worked for Arthur Anderson as a CPA and then joined Thermo Electron, a Fortune 500 company. He served with Thermo Electon for more than 30 years, retiring as a Vice President and Treasurer of the Corporation. He was also a board member of several corporations. Paul dedicated countless volunteer hours to his community serving in the capacity of Treasurer for the Calvary Episcopal Church in Danvers, MA; Treasurer for the Unity Church of Jenson Beach, FL; Treasurer for The German American Club of Hobe Sound, FL; and Meals on Wheels Volunteer of Stuart, FL. Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who devoted his life to his family, church, and community. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Paul is survived by his wife, Ilse B. (Chamberlain) Ferrari; his children, Lauren M. Ferrari of Danvers, MA and Melissa F. (Kirk) Kashgagian of Brockton, MA; his brother, Henry (Joan) Ferrari of Plymouth, MA and Juno Beach, FL; his sister-in-law, Carp Ferrari of Natick, MA; and his extended family, Robert (Faith) Chamberlain and Angela (Tom) Dushane. He was a cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren, including, Nick, Alex, Kloe, Kyle, Tyler, Luke, and Mimi, and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Henshaw Ferrari of Salem, MA and his brother, David Ferrari of Natick, MA. A tribute to Paul's life will be held at the Lost Lake Country Club, Hobe Sound, FL on January 4, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
