Ruth L. (Martin) Hinshaw, 79, Indianapolis, formerly of Carmel, died Monday, March 29.
She worked for the Indiana Department of Revenue for many years, retiring in 1976 as a department manager. She was a member of the Carmel chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Services: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1 in Flanner & Buchanan Carmel Mortuary, with calling from noon.
Burial: Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers.
She was the widow of O. Leon Hinshaw.
Survivors: daughter Janice A. Altum; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
