Beth Finney
W. Elizabeth "Beth" Finney, 94, homemaker, of Winfield, died Feb. 19, 1998, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene in Winfield. The Rev. Ron Keith will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
Finney was born May 2, 1903, in Douglass, to Ernest Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Duncan) Henshaw.
She married Alex D. Finney on Jan. 31, 1924, in Winfield. He died in December 1983. A daughter, Roberta Morris, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Farrol "Buzz" Finney, Wichita; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
