According to Rebecca Jane Hinshaw's daughter-in-law, Nellie Pearl Haun Walker, and her grand daughter, Aileen Walker Bible Brown, Rebecca Jane Hinshaw was buried in Walker Cemetery, on Walker Road, east of Bulls Gap, in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  Her husband, Gabriel Walker, two daughters, Millie Walker Moore and Hester Minerva Walker Wolfe, and son, John Aster Walker, are all buried in the same cemetery.  Her grave had been marked by a wooden plank, which has since rotted away.  No headstone or field stone was ever placed on the grave.6,22

Rebecca was possibly a daughter of William Hinshaw of Greene County, Tennessee.23  One published family tree states that Rebecca's parents were a "Capt. Billy Hinshaw & Margaret".7  Rebecca Jane is probably the same as Jane Hinshaw #2535.
