She married Richard C. "Dick" Barkes.^4,5,6 Richard, son of Elmer Henry Barkes & Leota Elmina Dickinson, was born Feb 5 1918, South Dakota.^4,7,8,9

Apparently Hally and Richard were married about 1941, as Hally was shown with her parents in the 1940 census,³ and Richard was shown alone in the 1941 city directory of Omaha, Nebraska:¹¹

During World War II Richard served in the U.S. Army; enlisted Jul 14 1942; discharged Jan 7 1946.⁷

Hally's obituary was published in the "Omaha World-Herald" (Omaha, Nebraska) on December 10, 2000.¹²
