He married Ida Dailey4 [Ida Daily1,2], Jul 28 19074.  Ida, daughter of David Daily & Phoebe Lewis, was born Feb 22 1864.2  

No children.9  

At Whitewater MM on 9-17-1908, Ida Dailey was granted a certificate to Cherry Grove MM.10  

At Cherry Grove MM on 10-10-1908, Ida Dailey was received on a certificate from 8th St. MM, Richmond, Indiana.4  

Ida died 1910.2  

He then married Elva Wood Harris, Apr 11 1914, Wayne County, Indiana.1,2,5  Elva, daughter of Thomas Harris & Sarah Runyon, was born Jun 6 1873, Eaton, Preble County, Ohio.1,2,5,11  

No children.9  

Elkannah James Hinshaw died Dec 1 1947.1,2  

Elva died 1958, Randolph County Hospital, Winchester, Randolph County, Indiana; age 84.1,2,11  Elva died due to carbon monoxide poisoning; her death was reported in a local newspaper11 (see scan below).
