Marie B. McOsker, 95, of Derby, VT formerly of Portland, Maine passed away February 12, 2012 in Derby. She was born December 14, 1916 in Peabody, MA, a daughter of Arthur and Ella (Martin) Henshaw. On April 21, 1939 she married Leo F. McOsker who predeceased her. She graduated from Saltonstall High School in Salem, MA. Her hobbies included reading, knitting, and gardening. She is survived by her children: Nancy Fontaine and her husband Luke of Derby, VT and Robert McOsker and his wife Hue of Vienna, Virginia. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Kevin, Coleen and Jennifer McOsker. She was predeceased by a son William McOsker and by two brothers Arthur and Francis Henshaw. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.curtis-britch-converse-rushford.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, locally family owned and operated.
