Engineer, born July 4th, 1945 in Torrance, CA. Gone to Heaven June 13, 2007 after a long illness. Died peacefully in his sleep at his home in San Pedro. He graduated from Dorsey High School in LA and had attended Valley College and Cal State Northridge. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had also been an Eastview Kiwanis officer who enjoyed doing community outreach. He was the owner of Diamond Systems Industrial Tools. Gordon is survived by sisters, Vicki Steele and Diane Halasz; cousins, Christine (Peter) Halverson and Kathy Stewart; nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a good person who helped others. Memorial services will be Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 12 noon at the Community Christian Church, 1903 Summerland, Rancho Palos Verdes. A reception will follow.
