Hinshaw, Nannie B., wife, age 26, born Apr 1874 in North Carolina; parents born in North Carolina; married 9 years; 2 children, 2 living.
Hinshaw, Mary J, daughter, age 6, born Jun 1893 in North Carolina; father born in North Carolina; mother born in Virginia.

Note that the 1900 census clearly showed Nannie was born in North Carolina, yet it also clearly showed daughters Mary and Ulah had a mother who was born in Virginia.  This seems to have been a census error, as the 1910 census (below) shows both daughters with their mother born in North Carolina.

George Newman Hinshaw helped gather much of the data on his line for the work done by Edna Harvey Joseph on the Hinshaw family.2  

George lived in Ramseur, North Carolina.2
