Paul Henry Emmerich, 76, of Carson City, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005. He was born Feb. 4, 1929, in Baltimore, to John and Antionette Emmerich. Paul was a resident of Las Vegas for 36 years and a current resident of Carson City for the past five years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. Paul was a professional photographer. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Emmerich. Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol; son, Brad Emmerich of Maui, Hawaii; daughters, Cindy Ashworth of Las Vegas and Kelly Propster of Carson City; and grandchildren, Matthew, Justin and Cassidy Ashworth, all of Las Vegas, Alexandra and Casaundra Propster of Carson City, Erin, Ethan, Jessa and Sara Emmerich of Maui, Hawaii, and Britannia (Propster) Ward of Carson City. Evening of respect will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at FitzHenry's Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, Carson City. A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at Calvary Chapel, 1744 Forrest Way, Carson City. In lieu of flowers, benevolent gifts in loving memory of Paul may be sent to Carol, c/o Calvary Chapel, Carson City, NV 89706.
