He declared he was born Jan 20 1891 in Stewartsville, New Jersey, and was then residing in Bloomsburg, New Jersey, married with a dependent wife and three children, occupaied as a farmer. He claimed an exemption due to "wife + children". He was recorded as medium height, gray eyes, light brown hair, and "one finger of" [...remainder unclear...].²
