She then married Merlin Rhonda Stowers, Dec 31 1959, Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia.^3,9 Merlin was born 1930, Lincoln County, West Virginia.^3,10,11,12

Merlin had been previously married to Nannie Clendenin, Aug 5 1951, Sissonville, West Virginia.^9,11

Gertrude and Merlin apparently divorced. Merlin remarried to Darlena Belle Miller, Apr 17 1965, Sugar Creek, West Virginia.^9,12

She then married Fred J. George⁴ [Fredric J. George^13,14,15,16]. Fred was born Jul 17 1938.^4,17

Fred's death was reported in the "Sun-Sentinel" (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) on July 23, 2009:¹⁸
