In 1942 Michael Carroll Henshaw, age 47, registered for the World War II draft in Oakland, Alameda County, California. He declared he was born Mar 11 1895 in California, and was then residing at 516 13th St. in Oakland, employed by the Richmond Shipyards in Richmond. He declared his relative/contact was Janette Anderson, 4109 E. 12th, Oakland. He was recorded as 5' 10 1/2" tall, 185 lbs., blue eyes, gray hair, light complexion.²
